Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive admissions and physical examinations.
- Perform thorough history and physical assessments.
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans.
- Review and evaluate medication regimens.
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients suffering from medical conditions related to chronic substance use disorders.
- Assess, recommend, and co-manage patients’ medical needs to ensure safe and quality care.
- Foster a warm and supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Family Nurse Practitioner license.
- Valid NYS License and Registration.
- DEA license for prescribing narcotics.
- Possession of Data 200 waiver or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Experience in addiction treatment is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with a focus on addiction treatment.
