Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient observations.
- Perform patient rounds effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of patients’ medical histories and symptoms.
- Develop and implement patient care plans while contributing to existing care strategies.
- Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose health conditions and communicate findings to the on-call physician.
- Possess a PMHNP/Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner License in New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Familiarity with long-term care facilities preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and proficiency in communicating with elderly patients.
- An outgoing and approachable demeanor.
