Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients in your assigned territory. You will leverage your sales skills to drive revenue and Market Share growth through direct sales efforts of Hyster and Yale forklifts, lead generation, and upselling opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the market and have experience in technology or technical sales.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory through proactive lead generation and networking.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales activities.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to align strategies and share insights on market trends.
- Provide product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our offerings.
- Upsell existing clients by identifying additional needs and presenting relevant solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in territory sales or direct sales, preferably in technology or technical fields.
- Strong skills in lead generation and retail or inside sales techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
