Engineer, Process Controls

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Provide engineering support to maintain the controls and information system, as well as the Process Safety Management system. Create and implement new processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Ignition software.
• Maintain PLC program, database, and Information Systems for production PLC's.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and instrument problems.
• Design, test, troubleshoot, and oversee implementation of new processes. Design and install retrofits to existing systems.
• Create and implement new strategies and automation processes to improve process efficiency.
• Maintain quality assurance on control systems in manufacturing.
• Maintain facility equipment controls.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Work Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience with instrumentation & controls in a manufacturing environment.

Skills and Abilities:

• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending strategies to resolve problems.
• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details while meeting deadlines of multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineering License.
• EIT (Engineering in Training) completion.
• Proficient in Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, RSViewSE, Vantage Point, Historian, SQL.

The anticipated salary range is $77,480 - $112,320 per year, based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
