Job Summary
Respond to Operations Service Inquiries (OSI) and inbound calls from sales reps and other Medline employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer OSIs, inbound calls, and provide transportation solutions for products or raw materials between branches, facilities, and customers.
- Determine the most efficient modes of transportation based on business needs.
- Collaborate with carriers, operations, sales team, and customers to ensure smooth logistics.
- Participate in department initiatives such as scheduling and inside delivery optimization.
- Secure rush carriers and resolve transportation issues as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a Transportation Coordinator or related role.
- Knowledge of transportation practices and principles.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with SAP or similar software systems.
