We are seeking an experienced Director of Distribution Operations to lead our inventory reconciliation teams and drive process improvements across Medline's distribution network. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely reconciliation of inventory discrepancies, ensuring accurate inventory adjustments, and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional teams. Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the field inventory control teams to ensure timely reconciliation of inventory discrepancies while ensuring continuous improvement and streamlining of processes.
- Reconciles monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Ensures timely completion of clearings and postings.
- Raise awareness among management peers on issues that include, but are not limited to, ongoing transactional concerns, SOP compliance concerns, and DC trend concerns.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
- Ensure compliance throughout the supply chain to all regulatory rules and guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, and strong computer skills.
- 10 years of business experience with extended education.
