Job Summary
As a seasoned leader, you will oversee and lead the teams responsible for field reconciliation of inventory and discrepancies throughout Medline's distribution network. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive the achievement of specified goals in total inventory adjustments, service levels, and loss prevention.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the field inventory control teams to ensure timely reconciliation of inventory discrepancies while ensuring continuous improvement and streamlining of processes.
- Reconciles monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Ensures timely completion of clearings and postings.
- Raise awareness among management peers on issues that include, but are not limited to, ongoing transactional concerns, SOP compliance concerns, and DC trend concerns.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
- Ensure compliance throughout the supply chain to all regulatory rules and guidelines.
Major Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills and prior experience utilizing databases and spreadsheets.
