Job Description
Medline Industries is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions that create measurable business impact. This role requires strong technical expertise in machine learning and Generative AI (GenAI) . The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI enabled business solutions from proof of concept to full-scale deployment.
Key Responsibilities :
AI Solution Development & Execution :
- Scope, design, and execute time-bound Proof of Concepts (PoCs), ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data distributions, uncover patterns, and generate actionable insights.
- Work with Product Managers to understand business objectives and success metrics for AI initiatives.
- Work closely with Data Engineers to identify and prepare the necessary data pipelines and infrastructure for model development.
- Partner with AI Engineers to implement ML models and GenAI solutions into applications and workflows effectively.
- Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders, including process experts and business leaders.

The anticipated salary range for this position :
115,440.00 - $173,160.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and / or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
