Shift : 4PM - 9PM M-F and Saturday 11AM - 4PM
Job Description : As an In-Home Aide with MedLink Homecare, your role is to provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, working closely with our Registered Nurse Service Supervisor.
Responsibilities :
Follow care plans to ensure clients receive safe and competent care.
Assist with personal hygiene and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
Bathing of Client.
Support clients in self-administering medications as directed.
Encourage independence and engage clients in activities.
Provide emotional support and establish trusting relationships with clients and families.
Monitor and report changes in client's condition to the Registered Nurse.
Perform light housekeeping duties for client comfort and safety.
Maintain visit reports and client records regularly.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Completion of required competencies demonstrated to the Registered Nurse.
Good physical health and ability to perform assigned tasks.
Basic understanding of personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
Listing on the Nurse Aide Registry if extensive assistance is required.
Successful completion of a criminal background check.
Job Conditions :
Ability to drive and assist clients in and out of vehicles.
Physical ability to access various home environments and perform client care tasks.
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
