What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Dentist-Locum position at Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates?
Specialty: Dentist - must be comfortable seeing Peds
Start Date: ASAP-6 months - Needs two Dentists
CEREC for crowns in most locations
Must be comfortable seeing Pediatric patients
No new grads
Must be enrolled with Medicaid
60 days typically to enroll with payors
- Days and hours needed: 5 days a week (monday through friday, or tuesday through saturday. can rotate like that.) 10-6 Monday through Friday. Saturday 9-2
- Length of contract: 6 months
- How many patients per day: Averaging anywhere from 35-40 patients a day
- Procedures: Exts, crowns, fills, prophys, srps
- How many chairs: 3 exam rooms 7 operatories
- What type of support staff is present: 6 General Dental Assistant's, 1 Specialty DA, 1 Ortho DA
- Number of Hygienists on staff?: We do not use hygienists, we have dental assistants and 6
- EMR: Open Dental
- Types of technology used for treatment: Overjet.ai
- DEA required: No but preferred
- Willing to pay for travel of lodging if needed: ( will source local candidates, but just in case we need to go outside of the area): Prefer local, however, yes willing to pay. We utilize our own travel platform that we can book the provider through
- Needs to be enrolled in Medicaid- is that a deal breaker: Has to be in medicaid it is a deal breaker we are primarily a medicaid business
