What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner - Oncology/Hematology position at Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates?
Job Description:
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 3-5 days per week, no weekends or holidays
- Occasional call based on practice needs
- Manage daily clinic schedule
- Assist with acute needs in infusion clinic. Infusion clinic acute needs coverage on rotating basis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for Hematology/Oncology patients
- Primarily outpatient, ability to do inpatient rounding if experienced
- 10-15 clinic patients/day
- Clinical documentation skills required, experience in Cerner preferred
- Experience with complex decision-making
- Ability to work independently and see new patients
- Provider must have special interest in Hematology/Oncology and a commitment to continuous education
- Hematology/Medical Oncology NP/PA work experience preferred, 2 years of ambulatory practice or acute care NP/PA work experience required (not including RN_ or training experience)_
- This is a permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. To be discussed at interview.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary range $110k-$120k, based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview).

Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP/ANCC) or Physician Assistant - REQUIRED
- OH license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice and license - REQUIRED
- 2 years of ambulatory practice or acute care NP/PA work experience (note in "Experience" field) - REQUIRED
- Hematology/Medical Oncology NP/PA work experience (note in "Experience" field) - PREFERRED
