Job Overview

Practice Setting: Urgent Care clinic that offers Occupational Health
Documentation System/EMR: Anthem
Will APP be Working Autonomously: Yes
Supervising Physician Present During Assignment: Yes, supervising physician will be available via phone
Procedures: Episodic care, injury treatmentPatient Age Demographic: Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric
Facility will reimburse for Mileage billed at the IRS Standard Rate
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Perform procedures such as catheterization as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems, preferably Epic.
- Participate in utilization review processes to ensure appropriate care delivery.
- Stay current with advancements in medical-surgical practices and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA) -_ REQUIRED_
- Active VA license - REQUIRED
- BLS - REQUIRED
- Provider Must be Local -_ REQUIRED_
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
