Nurse Practitioner

Job Description:

• The provider will be responsible for treating adult and adolescent patients.
• This is an ambulatory primary care position, meaning the provider will be working in an outpatient setting.
• The role requires the ability to practice autonomously while managing 25 patients per day.
• Cerner EMR will be used for documentation, and the provider will work within a hospital-employed system.
• The provider is expected to make a long-term commitment to ensure continuity of care.
• No hospital call, and a hospitalist group will admit patients to the hospital.

REQUIREMENTS

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP/ANCC) or Physician Assistant - REQUIRED
• OH license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• Ability to practice autonomously seeing 25 patients/day - - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and license - REQUIRED

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification in Family Medicine or a related field.
