What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sign Language Interpreter position at Medlinkhealth?
Purpose
Albright Training Center requires the services of American Sign Language translator(s) to meet the needs of two students registered to participate in the on-site Fundamentals class taking place during February 2025.
Services are required for daily classroom activities, field trip events, and evening events.
ASL interpreters are needed throughout the week's activities to support the students' full participation.
Approx dates are 2/26/2025 – 3/4/2025.
The Interpreter is required due to the requirement to have support during classroom, field trips, and evening events.
Duties
- American Sign Language interpreters will be provided for all activities of the Fundamentals session 2/26/2025-03/04/2025.
- Activities include field trips, pre-classroom, and post-classroom activities in addition to traditional in-classroom events.
- The events will occur at Albright Training Center and in the surrounding Grand Canyon National Park and other potential proximal locations.
- During some events, the large class will be broken into smaller groups. The ASL interpreter(s) will be required to attend the group where services are required.
Qualifications
- The ASL Interpreter must be fully trained and hold National Interpreter Certification (NIC).
- Must have 2 years of experience in the performance of ASL services.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $28.51 - $30.96 per hour
Schedule:

- Weekends as needed
