Michigan Evaluation Group (MEG), a Medlogix Company, specializes in worker’s compensation, auto no-fault, general disability, and liability claims. Our physicians are from various specialties who will provide a detailed picture of an individual’s medical status upon evaluation. The MEG staff is comprised of former claims professionals seeking to provide each of our clients with a detailed and comprehensive report that enables them to better evaluate their claims. OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Director of Operations; confirms the appointment dates and times with the physician offices; enters the appointment information into the company’s software system; communicates with clients, physicians, examinees and attorneys; and handles incoming calls, emails and faxes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedules Independent Medical Examination and other appointments through Medlogix' s proprietary system database.
- Schedules and confirms appointment dates and times with physicians' offices.
- Enter physician block schedules in Medlogix' s proprietary system database.
- Communicates with clients regarding appointment scheduling, physician CV's, appointment changes, no shows, cancellations, and receipt of medical records and/or images.
- Prepares and sends exam notification letters daily.
- Communicates with physicians, clients and or examinees regarding any schedule changes.
- Coordinates ancillary services such as interpretation, chaperones, transportation, and or exam site rentals when needed. Ensures the appropriate steps are taken to cancel and/or reschedule services upon appointment change or cancellation.
- Provide assistance to Records, Clinic, and QA teams if needed for pending or existing appointment matters.
- Provides support and/or coverage to satellite offices as needed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate minimum
