- Process medical records requests
- Sort mail and distribute
- Coordinate and supervise medical records related vendors
- Third party medical records requests
- Portal status administration
- Focused client interaction
- Maintenance of electronic records life cycle per the retention policy
- Coordination of special client requests
- Promote a safe, positive and profitable working environment
- Oversee supply and merchandise needs/stock
- Facilitate weekly team meetings
- Address operational, technical and mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Delegate daily work assignments and schedules for employees
- New employee orientation and training
Staff Management
- Manage the hiring, training, performance management and disciplinary processes for direct reports.
- Implement quality and productivity objectives to achieve company goals.
- Ensure that employees follow the company standards, policies and strategies.
- Coordinate with CIO in planning short and long term projects, budgets, expense controls, schedules, and staffing.
- Develop and implement staffing and business plans to achieve business target.
- Evaluate key productivity indicators and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Develop operational strategy and ensure that the operational activities meet the organizational requirements.
- Delegate daily work assignments and schedules for employees.
- Support company security policies and procedures.
Staff Management, Continued
- Coach direct reports to address problem areas, reinforce positive performance and hold them accountable for results.
- Ensure that direct reports are thoroughly trained and are keeping current on changes in regulatory requirements, industry trends and other information affecting their area of responsibility.
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly team meetings.
Administration
- Maintain proficiency with company computer systems, databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attend Manager meetings to discuss operational issues, communication issues, debrief events, etc.
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Must possess a spoken understanding of URAC accreditation elements relevant to the position, and actively practice and apply such standards as outlined in company policies and procedures. Mandatory participation in URAC training programs relative to the position. Participation in established and future designated URAC committees may be required per company policy.
