Reports to : Director of Arbitration Litigation
Position Purpose :
As an Appeals Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming post service appeals for insurance carriers in all states. You will confirm all necessary documentation has been received as required by state regulations. You will review and assign appeals to the appropriate subject matter experts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive reviews on all documentation submitted
- Associate documents to carrier claim and ensure all required documents have been received
- Attach additional documentation from multiple systems when necessary
- Request documentation from other sources both internal and external partners
- Utilizing proprietary databases to assign appeals to subject matter experts
- Other duties as assigned
