Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' conditions by taking vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and RNs.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Educate patients and their families about health care plans and medication management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Observe patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to RNs or physicians.
- Assist with medical procedures as directed by RNs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice (TN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients.
