A detail-oriented and innovative Lead Injection Molding Operator for the night shift at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Flowery Branch, United States. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing injection molding processes, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining a safe work environment.Responsibilities:
A detail-oriented and innovative Lead Injection Molding Operator for the night shift at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Flowery Branch, United States. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing injection molding processes, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining a safe work environment.Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the injection molding operations during the night shift, ensuring efficient and high-quality production
- Set up, operate, and maintain injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Pull and set molds from presses (IMM, IBM) and set up EOAT for robotics
- Conduct daily process verifications to ensure molds are running within set parameters
- Identify and resolve quality defects, taking appropriate corrective actions
- Respond to machine alarms and troubleshoot issues promptly
- Support material supply to presses as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing area
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and achieve production goals
- Train and mentor junior operators on best practices and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations
- Proactively engage in continuous improvement initiatives and support company policies
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in injection molding or injection blow molding processing
- Proven experience with IMM or IBM machines
- In-depth knowledge of various mold concepts (injection, injection blow, cold and hot runner systems, multi-plate molds, cores, slides, etc.)
- Experience or knowledge of scientific molding (preferred)
- Robotic experience (preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy equipment
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in product knowledge and Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability to changing production needs and willingness to learn new technologies
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
