Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Material Handler to join our team in Flowery Branch, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate movement of materials within our warehouse facility, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, store, and retrieve materials
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Accurately track inventory using computerized inventory management systems
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Assist in conducting periodic inventory counts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Identify and report any discrepancies in inventory or shipments
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse or material handling roles
- SAP experience a plus
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety and following proper procedures
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
