Job Title : Network Contract Recruiter

Hourly Rate : $45.62

Work Type : 100% Remote (Candidates must be located within one of the following states : AZ, FL, GA, ID, IA, KY, MI, NE, NM, NY [outside greater-NYC], OH, TX, UT, WA [outside greater-Seattle], WI)

Hours : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM EST

Job Description

Molina Healthcare of Virginia is seeking a skilled Network Contract Recruiter to perform targeted recruitment efforts aimed at closing network adequacy gaps for Medicare and Medicaid. In this role, you will evaluate provider networks and execute strategic plans to meet Molina’ s network adequacy standards.

You will be responsible for :

  • Contracting & Negotiation : Utilizing Preferred, Acceptable, Discouraged, and Unacceptable (PADU) guidelines to contract and negotiate provider agreements.
  • Provider Engagement : Clearly and professionally communicating contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers.
  • Strategic Recruitment : Collaborating with business analysts and network directors to streamline provider applications for submission to CMS, including completing exception request templates with the necessary CMS data elements.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Network Development & Contracting : Demonstrated experience in managed care, particularly in recruiting for health plans and closing network adequacy gaps.
  • Contract Negotiations : Minimum of 5-7 years in a contract-related role within healthcare, with at least 3 years dedicated to provider contract negotiations in a managed healthcare setting.
  • Recruitment Expertise : Proven ability to recruit for Medicaid / Medicare with adherence to PADU contracting guidelines.
  • Technical Proficiency : Competence in updating spreadsheets and using word templates to track recruitment and contracting data.
  • Compensation Knowledge : Familiarity with various managed healthcare provider compensation methodologies including Value Based Payment, fee-for-service, capitation, and risk-based models.
  • Education & Licensure

  • Required : Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
