We are seeking a Scheduling Coordinator who is responsible for supporting scheduling operations to ensure MedOne patients are seen by providers and clinical leader schedules are effectively managed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- APC schedule: inpatient, post-acute, fellowship and new orientee schedules
- Post-acute physician/APC call schedule
- APC credentialing:
- Verify post-acute APPs are credentialed at cross cover buildings and work with credentialing and post-acute facilities to ensure providers are credentialed
- Keep APC staffing calculator up to date with APC ideal shifts
- Assist with APC Fellowship/orientation:
- Coordinate and set up time to use CME&I for simulations
- Request IT access/training for new APC’s and fellows
- Work with administrative team (HR, IT, Holly Ritter) to ensure all badges, lab coats, IT access, cards, scrubs are available on new APC/fellow first day or first day to cross cover at another site
- Prepare new hire/fellowship orientation manuals
- Clinical Leadership calendar management, including:
- Add and maintain clinical schedules to outlook calendars
- Block days off on outlook calendars/time off
- Meeting invitation/response management
- Support other areas/teams for scheduling, as needed
OTHER DUTIES
- Keep track of APP bonus metric requirements
- Order groceries and office supplies for Hutchinson office
- Order lunch weekly for Hutchinson office
- Set up board meeting, share-holder meeting, medical director dinners
- Perform other duties as assigned/needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: One to three years of experience in healthcare setting or scheduling experience preferred.
Skills:
- Highly organized and professional
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/schedules at once
- Ability to work quickly to provide scheduling resolution/coverage and problem solve
- Able to produce monthly reports with accuracy
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and internet resources
- Willingness to take on new tasks/roles within appropriate scope
- Builds good rapport and partnership with internal and external team members
