Super Scribe

Position Overview

As a Super Scribe, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our providers have the support they need to deliver high-quality patient care. This position requires adaptability, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning. You will be trained across various clinics and specialties, making you an invaluable asset to our healthcare team.

Coverage

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross-train in multiple clinics to provide flexible support during clinic add-ons, call-outs, and periods of shortage.
• Step in as needed to maintain smooth clinic operations and ensure uninterrupted patient care.
  
  

Turnover

• Serve as a temporary scribe in the event of staffing shortages, ensuring that providers have consistent coverage.
• Assist in training new scribes once they are hired, sharing your knowledge and best practices to ensure a smooth transition.
  
  

Implementation

• Lead the start-up of new clinics or specialties, working closely with new providers to understand their specific needs and workflows.
• Learn and implement new Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems or specialty protocols, establishing a foundation for new scribes to follow.
• Act as the primary back-up for new scribes, providing ongoing support and guidance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical scribe or in a related healthcare role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and learn new systems.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in using EMR systems and other healthcare software.
