Job Summary

Our clinical operations activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Training & Development Manager in London to join our Clinical Monitoring team. This position plays a key role in the training and developing of Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) through our well known PACE Training Program (Professionals Achieving CRA Excellence).  If you enjoy mentoring and training CRAs and want to build upon your CRA knowledge to grow your career even further, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and deliver PACE training sessions and workshops;
  • Participate in hands-on exercises and practicums with new CRAs;
  • Assist in the development and revision of PACE training content;
  • Evaluate effective training strategies on an ongoing basis;
  • Mentor and develop new CRAs;
  • Participate in evaluation of new CRAs;
  • Support departmental projects/tasks;
  • Coordinate continuing education training curriculum for experienced CRAs;
  • Conduct on-site CRA evaluation visits;
  • Assist in CRA recruitment and interviewing in collaboration with the hiring group;
  • Maintain effective communication with CRA Managers regarding CRA performance and training needs; and
  • May include direct supervision of junior Training & Development staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with significant clinical research experience, including good experience as a CRA;
  • Advanced knowledge of clinical trials and drug/device development and approval processes, as well as ICH-GCP principles;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Desire to train and develop CRAs; and
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
