Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patients’ health status.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including cardiac catheterization and vital signs monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide care for neonates, including the use of neonatal ventilators when necessary.
- Manage pain effectively through appropriate interventions and patient education.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within a teaching hospital setting to enhance patient outcomes.
- Stay updated with medical terminology and best practices to ensure high standards of care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
- Experience in pediatric care, particularly toddler care, is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
