Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Administrator to manage and safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure against cyber threats. The role works with the infrastructure administration team and involves implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security measures to protect sensitive data, systems, and networks. This includes involvement in the responsibilities of hybrid infrastructure design, disaster recovery planning, capacity planning, security, server and network configuration, network administration and monitoring, and maintenance. This role works closely with all levels of HIT Management, MedPOINT managers & supervisors, and IT Help Desk teammates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the Senior Supervisor, IT Infrastructure and Operations and VP of HIT to assist with the implementation design, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and reporting of cyber security sta
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, suspicious activity, and vulnerabilities.
- Respond to security incidents by investigating and mitigating risks.
- Manage and maintain security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection platforms.
- Perform regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests, analyzing results and implementing remediation measures.
- Administer and manage user access controls, ensuring proper authorization and authentication processes.
- Implement and maintain identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
- Regularly review and update access policies to align with business and compliance requirements.
- Configure and manage security appliances, including firewalls, VPNs, anti-virus systems, and SIEM solutions.
- Ensure operating systems, applications, and hardware are patched and up to date with the latest security updates.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design secure system architectures and implement best practices.
- Additional responsibilities as required by management.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- BS degree in engineering/computer science or a closely related field and three (3) years of recent full‐time experience in a centralized Information Technology organization within the last five years in infrastructure design, configuration, and administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cybersecurity tools.
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Understanding of Healthcare IT, HITRUST, and HIPAA
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent problem‐solving and multitasking skills with ability to manage changing priorities.
- May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines simultaneously.

Salary Range:
- $65,000 – 160,000 annually
