ECM Data Analyst, Clinical Care Coordination

Summary

The ECM Data Validator is responsible for reviewing all incoming and outgoing data related to the ECM (Enhanced Care Management) program to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established guidelines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that data is validated before it is shared or reported, helping to maintain the integrity and reliability of ECM-related reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data Validation: Review and validate incoming and outgoing ECM data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness in reporting.
  • Reporting Review: reviewing and verifying reports generated from ECM data, ensuring the correct data is presented and aligns with established standards.
  • Data Quality Control: Perform routine audits and checks on ECM data to identify and correct errors or discrepancies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the ECM team, IT department, and other stakeholders to resolve data issues and implement improvements to the validation process.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and organized records of validated data, issues identified, and corrections made.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements related to data collection, reporting, and validation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all data reporting complies with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to team members on best practices for data validation and reporting processes.
  • Performs complex analyses.
  • Conducts and facilitates (and educates and trains on) analyses, issues identification, organizational risk assessment, and decision-making processes.
  • Provides consulting and analytic services to leadership.
  • Provides technical support and mentoring and training to less-senior analysts.
  • Develops methodology and processes for prioritization and scheduling of projects.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in data validation, data analysis, or reporting, preferably within the healthcare or ECM field.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Certification in Data Management, Healthcare Data, or related fields is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Must have strong analytical skills, Critical thinking skills, time management and problem-solving abilities. Ability to read, analyze and comprehend complex clinical data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with database management and reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of ECM processes and healthcare reporting standards is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-starter and a team player.
  • Must have a high degree of patience, excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to take on multiple projects while maintaining successful work-life balance
  • Able to effectively liaise from Lead to VP, advocating both up and down

Salary Range:

  • $33- $36/hour
