In this role, you will…
Own the process of policy and endorsement quoting and issuance for assigned commercial lines accounts through actively listening to customers and distribution partners, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs.
Meet annual and new business targets and hit ratios.
Respond to customer and distribution partner inquiries and requests received via phone, email and fax in the required timelines, building and managing long-term relationships.
Actively listen and work with customers and distribution partners to research and resolve a wide variety of issues appropriately escalating issues when necessary.
Acknowledge and address customer's requests for additional products or services.
Demonstrate accuracy in processing/communicating information to customers and distribution partners, and documenting available information.
Utilize an Agency Management System and other internal tools to manage the book of business and document available information.
Identify at risk accounts, using appropriate tools and resources to retain the account and/or reduces losses.
Work with customers to notify on late payment issues and upcoming premium audits.
Assist with any ongoing or future book rolls.
Perform other duties as assigned.
We are looking for candidates with…
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience and/or basic knowledge of insurance industry.
Current Indiana Property & Casualty License or must meet Indiana state licensing requirements within 90 days of hire date.
Ability to maintain consistent/dependable work schedule.
A self-starter attitude with excellent attention to detail, organization, management and sales/negotiation skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel), familiarity with CRM tools a plus.
Experience in team environment including an ability to connect with peers, customers and distribution partners; active listening skills; clearly and effectively shares information verbally.
Ability to draft/revise communication professionally via multiple communication channels to deliver information in a clear and concise manner with diverse audience, ensuring a focus on timeliness and attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage escalating situations while maintaining composure, triage and escalate as needed.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
