We are seeking a skilled Clinical Respiratory Care Specialist for a travel contract in a reputable healthcare facility.
Job Summary:
This is a 13-week assignment requiring the delivery of high-quality patient care to patients with respiratory disorders. The successful candidate will possess a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders
- Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and legible patient records
- Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, and their family members
Requirements:
- Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC
- CPR certification
- At least 18 months of respiratory care experience, preferably in a critical care setting
