About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality images of patients' bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
- Position patients correctly for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists to perform imaging procedures, start IVs, and administer contrast media when necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech.
- Be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
- Meet most states' licensure requirements.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
