About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic team at MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Aptly set the controls of related equipment, monitoring equipment and patient, making adjustments as required
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
- Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
- Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure and appropriately label
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions
- Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
- Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
Requirements:
- Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech
- Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
- Most states require licensure
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
