The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images that aid in accurate diagnoses. To excel in this position, you will need:
- Eighteen months of prior experience working in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
- ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
- State licensure, where applicable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Positioning patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
- Setting controls on related equipment, monitoring patient safety, and making adjustments as needed.
- Assisting radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast media if necessary.
