Job Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
- Set controls, monitor equipment, and adjust settings as needed to ensure optimal image quality.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately.
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Eighteen months of prior experience as a CT technologist in a healthcare setting.
- A strong understanding of CT scan principles and protocols.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
