Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technician to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment and producing high-quality images to aid in medical diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Appropriately set the controls of related equipment, monitoring both equipment and patient, making adjustments as needed
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech
- Be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
- Meet state licensure requirements (most states require licensure)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
