Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination and perform 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies as directed by supervising physicians.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of patient echo studies and preliminary interpretations.
- Assist with training of residents, fellows, faculty, and other physicians under the direction of supervising physicians.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited cardiac technology or echocardiography program.
- Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
- Interpretation skills to facilitate comprehensive examinations and accurate preliminary interpretations.
