About the Position
As a Medical Imaging Professional, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images that aid in accurate diagnoses. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least eighteen months of experience working in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech.
- Be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
- Possess a valid state license, where applicable.
- Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Positioning patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
- Setting controls on related equipment, monitoring patient safety, and making adjustments as required.
- Assisting radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast media if necessary.
