Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technician to join our team of medical professionals. As a CT technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
About the Role
- Positioning patients for CT scans and ensuring their safety and comfort during the procedure
- Setting and monitoring CT equipment controls to achieve optimal image quality
- Assisting radiologists with imaging procedures, including injecting contrast media and starting IVs
- Evaluating CT scans for technical quality and labeling them accordingly
- Scheduling patients for procedures and performing clerical tasks as needed
Requirements
- Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT technologist
- ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
- Licensure in most states
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
