Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Position patients and coils on the table that slides inside the MRI scanner.
- Inject contrast media as required.
- Evaluate image data on computer monitors during scans.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
- Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
