About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic 13-week contract setting.
The ideal candidate will possess experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a strong background in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for patient imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for accurate patient imaging results.
- Process and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.
- Provide detailed patient information and image analysis for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
- Evaluate image quality and calibration of instrumentation to maintain exceptional standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines in providing patient care.
- Deliver cost-effective and compassionate patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment by promoting national patient safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- A minimum of eighteen months of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
- Active registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
