The primary responsibility of the Respiratory Therapist is to evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. This role requires providing respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
We are seeking a quality Respiratory Therapist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have an NBRC Respiratory Therapist credential and CPR certification. Eighteen months of respiratory care experience, ideally in a critical care setting, is preferred.
This opportunity offers a weekly pay package with tax-free stipends and travel reimbursements. Responsibilities
Provide instruction to patients and other caretakers in the methods and objectives of therapy.
Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
Participate in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
Communicate with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, patients' family members, and other caretakers in a professional manner.
Requirements
NBRC Respiratory Therapist credential and CPR certification required.
