Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team as a travel staff member in Weaverville, California. This 12-hour, day shift position requires 18 months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
- Set controls of related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them accordingly.
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
