We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Lexington, Kentucky.

The successful candidate will have prior experience working as a CT Tech in a healthcare setting, with certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
• Set controls on related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast media if applicable
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label accordingly
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
• Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records
• Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives
