MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Denmark, South Carolina.

The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of prior experience as a CT Tech in a healthcare setting and hold current ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification. Most states require licensure to practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a CT technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, producing high-quality cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue used for medical diagnosis.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Appropriately set controls on CT equipment, monitoring both the patient and equipment, making adjustments as needed
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast when necessary
- Dispense oral contrast to patients before CT scans
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label them correctly
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions
- Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records
- Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
