We are seeking a qualified Electrophysiology Technician to join our team on a travel assignment in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care in the electrophysiology lab by providing technical support to the cardiac catheterization and EP team.
- Use imaging equipment to help doctors detect and treat heart and blood vessel issues in patients.
- Execute noninvasive procedures as needed.
- Review patient history and verify medical orders.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
- Communicate results to doctors.
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the electrophysiology lab.
- Maintain compliance with regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- Current License in good standing
- Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
- Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
