Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Belmont, North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Position patients and coils on the scanner table, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Administer contrast media as required, following proper protocols and procedures.
- Monitor image data on computer screens during scans, recognizing and responding to abnormalities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practices guidelines.
- Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner, prioritizing timeliness and compassion.
- Promote a safe work environment, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration, as required by state law.
- Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
