Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Galveston, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients
- Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
- Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures
- Evaluate images to determine technical quality and calibration of instrumentation
- Assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Eighteen months of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
