Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CT technologist to join our team as a travel radiology specialist. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images, and collaborating with radiologists to diagnose medical conditions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT technologist, be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Set controls on related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media if applicable
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images
