Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with speech, hearing, and language deficits. This includes providing therapy to improve communication skills, strengthening muscles for swallowing, and teaching compensatory strategies to prevent choking or inhaling food or liquid.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
- Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
- Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.
About the Position
This is a travel assignment that requires a minimum of one year of professional working experience as a Speech Language Pathologist. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure, and CCC's.
