Travel Echo Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Echo Technician to join our team for a travel assignment in West Jordan, Utah.
Job Summary:
This is a 10-hour per day, Allied Health Professional position that requires successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology, cardiac ultrasound, and cardiac echocardiography technology program. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology, as well as the ability to read, interpret, and apply physicians' orders.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares patients for examination, performs all 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
- Prepare and maintain records patient to echo studies.
- Assist supervising physicians with the training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
