Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment in Turnersville, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients safely and comfortably for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as needed.
- Adjust controls on related equipment, monitor patient and equipment status, and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal imaging results.
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs, injecting contrast media (if applicable), and dispensing oral contrast to patients.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence, and label them appropriately for reporting purposes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 18 months of prior experience in healthcare as a CT Technologist.
- Active certification as an ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified CT Technologist.
- Most states require licensure; must be licensed and registered accordingly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic healthcare team.
